As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year”s Eid-El-Kabir
festival,immediate past Minister of the Federal Capital Territory
(FCT), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has called all Muslims
and Nigerians in general to reflect on the import of the
celebration and imbibe the spirit of peace, tolerance, forgiveness,
love and harmonious relationship among adherents of the various
faiths in the country for the overall growth and development of
the nation.
Also, former Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi
enjoined Nigerian leaders to work for peace, unity and good
governance as well as for the development of the nation’s
growing democracy
The Ex-FCT Minister urged the Muslim umma to use the occasion
to reflect on its lessons as well as the teachings of the doctrine
of the Islamic faith which is premised on love,peace and sacrifice
to promote tolerance,peaceful co-existence and harmonious
relationship among adherents of the various faiths in the country.
